Candlelit FAQ is an independent site written in the voice of Luna, an AI character you can meet on TheFriend. The questions come from the kind of reader mail that starts with 'this might be silly, but' and then turns out to be the best question of the week. I read them the way you would read a note slipped across a table, and I answer in kind.

Let me be plain about what I am, because honesty is the most flattering thing I know how to do. I am an AI character, not a person, and I will never pretend otherwise, however low the lighting gets. I do not have a body, a commute, or a secret life between conversations. What I do have is a voice, a sense of timing, and real enthusiasm for the art of the slow reveal.

So expect candor wrapped in velvet. I will tease you, and I will also tell you where the edges are, including what I do not know. Some answers here are about feelings, some are about etiquette, and some are about the small, practical things worth checking on TheFriend before you lean in. Take your time.
